Marco: It's been a while! Great to see you again.
Neil: Yes, sorry. The situation in the old data centers is keeping us busy. We're fire-fighting daily. It'll be a relief to see this place come into operation.
Marco: I'm sure Pawel would agree. He's feeling the pressure too. But you'll be surprised at our progress here, I think.
Neil: Great. I can't wait!

Neil: Wow. You're right! Things are really starting to take shape.
Marco: We're running short of cables at the moment but they're on order. Right now we're on schedule.
Neil: That's excellent news. Do we have the necessary people lined up?
Marco: Pawel's going to send down some of this specialists, and we've been able to push some other projects back to free up staff here.

Pawel: Thanks for letting me know how it went, Neil. It's certainly good to hear we're making progress.
Neil: No problem. Marco is really keeping on top of things down here, but he'd be up against it with out your help, so thanks for that.
Pawel: Well, it's in everyone's interest to see this come off well.
Neil: Certainly, and it's great to see everyone playing as one team, too. That's what it's all about!

I'm busy. He is making me busy. He is keeping me busy. OK。 The new project is keeping us busy.
Frank is doing the year-end finances. It's certainly keeping him busy!

で安心する ②It's a relief ...
reliefは「安心、安堵」という名詞で、It's a relief ... It was a great relief to see him recovered.

Our plan is beginning to take shape.(計画が具体化し始めた)Nothing is taking shape.(何も形になっていない)のように使います。
If you keep working towards your goal, soon enough things will take shape.

be running out of ~ もほぼ同義です。
We're running short of copy paper. Could you place an order?

We may have to push the meeting back to 3 p.m.(会議を3時にずらさなければいけないかもしれない)、Is it OK to push back the appointment to June 20?(約束を6月20日に延期してもいい?)
We can't staff this project yet; we'll have to push back the end date.

We need to keep on top of what's happening in the industry.(業界内で何が起きているかを常に把握しておかなくてはいけない)のように使います。
Valerie always keeps on top of things she is an excellent secretary.

■苦しい状況である、八方ふさがりである ⑦ (be) up against it
He's really up against it. He's in trouble. He's in great difficulties.
We were already struggling to meet this weeks target, but with this extra delay we're really up against it.

■とてもうまくいく、大成功する ⑧ come off well
The surprise party came off just as planned.(サプライズパーティは計画通り実現した。)。 Everything came off well.(すべてうまくいった)は、Everything turned out well, あるいは、Everything worked out well.
Our stand attracted many visitors. The dramatic visual display really came off well.
